Get to know Anthony Francavilla, Consulting Technical Product Leader & Software Engineer

Anthony Francavilla, View2 Solutions founder and owner, is a highly experienced technologist and entrepreneur with more than three decades of technology leadership, software development, product ownership, management, and consulting experience.  Anthony started View2 Solutions to bring his proven track record of delivering complex software and infrastructure solutions to small and medium businesses needing technology leadership and execution.

Before View2 Solutions, Anthony was the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of COhomefinder.com and 8z Real Estate. Under his product and technology leadership, COhomefinder.com was Colorado's most popular real estate website for nearly a decade. With 160K registered users and 4.75M monthly page views, the traffic from the loyal users of COhomefiinder.com eclipsed that of the local MLS websites and national real estate portals. Anthony led his multidisciplinary agile team as the product manager, architect, SEO, and initial developer of the companies' numerous websites and applications. In 2011 he sold his 50% interest in the thriving and profitable businesses for a premium over the market value.

Prior to 8z/COhomefinder.com, Anthony served as Senior Vice President of Application Development at Seurat (formerly XOR, Inc), a technology consulting firm whose clients include RE/MAX International, Procter & Gamble, and ConAgra. Anthony grew and led a Java software development practice of nearly 50 engineers that worked with multi-disciplinary teams to build complex web-based applications and websites for dot com and Fortune 500 clients.

Anthony began his technology career at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, where he was co-awarded a patent for an Internet-based system that autonomously controls a cloud-sensing radar.  During his nine years at N.O.A.A., Anthony developed data acquisition and control applications for six different environmental remote sensing instruments.  He successfully deployed and operated the applications to study hurricanes, tornados, cloud formation, ocean waves, and the arctic atmosphere, furthering weather and climate research.

Anthony has a Masters in Software Engineering from the University of Denver, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Metropolitan State College of Denver, and studied Electrical Engineering and Economics at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
